Quell - Boxer EP (2020 Vision)
More 2020 Vision quality from a man like Quell, for a relatively new kid on the block he seems to be ticking all the right boxes.
Check You Out is some serious driving house business; heavy relentless four to the floor kicks us off with some lovely percussive breaks to follow, choppy vocal loops keep us hooked in for
the break which when it comes is an absolute stormer.
Don't Go is a lesson in straight up house, again a heavy bassline gives way to hi-hats and a lush, resounding, vocal loop, this breaks into a melodic synth treat, which carries us through to the end of the track.
Loose Meanings takes on a darker edge, with much darker moody synths from the offset, whilst harmonic melodies take you on a journey, head down, lost on the dancefloor.
Right is a great name for this track as it's just what it is! This is all about hi-hats and driving bass lines, in your face house, no messin!
