For Autumn / Winter 2013, Edwin Europe continue to collaborate with the creative team from the world famous laundry to apply some very unique hand-finished wash techniques to our denim.The G-Wash program takes the principle of natural looking wash processes and stays true to the look and feel of naturally worn in denim. Martelli recreate by hand the specific, subtle nuances and character of that favourite worn in five-pocket jean.
The G1 Wash replicates the natural wear process of a pair of jeans worn heavily for approximately 3 months and features knee shaping and 3D hand scraping.
The G2 Wash replicates the natural wear process of a pair of jeans worn heavily for approximately 6 months and features knee shaping, 3D hand scraping and coloured spray, giving a subtle dirt effect.
The G3 Wash replicates the natural wear process of a pair of jeans worn heavily for approximately 12 months after one wash, resulting in a mid- blue colour.
The G4 Wash replicates the natural wear process of a pair of jeans worn heavily for approximately 18 months after three washes and hand repair.
The G Series is available in both ED-55 and ED-80 in '63 Rainbow Selvage Denim with a selection available at their London, Paris and online stores as well as selected retailers across Europe.
