Review: Rodion - Allee Der Kosmonauten
Neil Parnell and Ian Considine’s Nein records had a staggering amount of output last year and they’ve hit the ground running in 2016 too.
Ed Rodion releases, Allee Der Kosmonauten, the second single taken from his band album, Generator releasing on the 25th January. “Space age music always had a big influence on me. Music that speaks distant nebulas, galactic storms, interplanetary voyages.” Says Rodion. “This style has inspired me from the very beginning. Note, the first Rodion visual back in the early 2000s was a soviet robot built for space travel.” |
Rodion - Allee Der Kosmonauten - Original
Translated into Cosmonauts Road “Allee Der Kosmonauten” is aptly named….Driving keys and a deliciously deep guitar make this a difficult tune to sit still to. Cosmic processed vocals abound in this beautiful piece of music which will appeal to a wide variety of listeners. Allee Der Kosmonauten - Lauer Mix Tuff City Kids Lauer takes the reigns with the first of the stunning remixes with a full on acid infested journey. Epic drums abound as the track progresses dancing between the original vocals. Fire up the smoke and lasers and lose yourself in this heads down belter. Allee Der Kosmonauten - Heretic Mix All round top bloke and waist coat wearing Timothy Clerkin aka Heretic takes the track into a deeper realm with a grittier drum laden tribal machine funk rhythm which drives the track on. A darker synthesized vocal shakes the listener before returning to a neck snapping onslaught of the senses. 8/10 Michael Prestage |
