Numb Mixtape - FiniTribe

Numb Mixtape FiniTribe by Numb Magazine on Mixcloud

Edinburgh based Fini Tribe with a Finifex Production began their 30 year journey as Gallery Macabre, twisting up the post punk of Wire, 23 Skidoo and Throbbing Gristle with their own take on contemporary instruments, samplers and visual image interpretation. They soon morphed into Fini Tribe and quickly established themselves as outsiders. Using percussion, bass and synthesised sounds, closer to Krautrock than Scotroc!

Let The Tribe Grow EP released in the 80s was championed and regularly dropped by Danny Rampling at Schoom, and across all the soundsystems of Ibiza. Cementing their place within the acid house movement. Five albums later, and the multi-remix collection of De Testimony has recently been unleashed to positive reviews. Fini Tribe with a Finiflex Production return to the stage, performing live with ground-breaking new material and fantastic light shows. Recent stand out performances have featured alongside The Orb, 808 State and The Pop Group, proving that they guys still have what it takes. 101 has been released with mixes by Timothy J Fairplay and Scott Fraser (Crimes of the Future) available now through One Little Indian.

Fini Tribe w/ Finifex production will be performing on the main stage at Alfresco Festival in Blackpool on Sunday 24th May. Tickets available here http://www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Blackpool/Blackpool-Cricket-Club-/Alfresco-2015/12204318/
