From humble beginnings as a barbeque for some friends and five events staged at Blackpool Cricket Club Mark Davis has grown his annual Alfresco summer party into something that everyone needs to sample.
Amassing a staggering array of musical selectors and musicians this year’s event spans three days from Friday 27th May until Sunday 29th May in Royal Tunbridge Wells and looks set to be the biggest and best yet. The event caters not only for the discerning listener but the kids will have a neck twisting amount of things to do while they are there too from The Big Pink Creative Bus, Vintage Funfairs, Hula Hoop Tutorials, Magic Shows, Balloon Modelling through to Graffiti & Street Art as well as a wide variety of workshops, a Toddler's Straw Village with Maze and an immense Rock N Roller Roller Disco….. (Now take a breath)

On the music front there will be stages hosted by Cowbell Radio, We Are The Sunset and a brand new stage called The Armchair Sessions where legendary guest selectors will be spinning with one deck or two from a custom built 70's living room. The now famous Nein Records Igloo returns to Alfresco also and the label will be showcasing an array of their own artists, throw into the mix the Vanishing Point crew who will also be hosting a massive showcase on the Saturday afternoon in the Igloo and you’ve got over 50 outstanding DJ’s across the event. |
